We all woke up early for this patrol for nothing!! Due to the water level at the dam being so low and the mud being so deep, it was decided that it would not be safe to allow the children to swim, so our first event was at 09:30 and not at 08:00 as planned. The ladies started at 09:30, and all of them finished the swim. At 09:40 the men started and at 09:45 the teams, during these events we rescued 12 athletes. While we were waiting for the main event, Nelson decided it was time to make his TV debut (actually the tc crew decided for him), as they approched him to do an interview. During the interview the reast of the lifeguards started singing happy birthday to Kerri-Ann (who is so dedicated that she even patrols on her birthday), and the TV crew then decided to give her, her TV debut as well. I don't know what was more red, her face or her rash vest.
